Rifhes is an outstanding Bass Music Producer and DJ. Born and based in the city of Guadalajara, he is considered one of the early pioneers of this genre in Mexico. Active since the end of the 90s, has worked on several music projects including a trip-hop band as well as dance and experimental electronic beats, this had lead him to explore different sounds and ambiences, a real expert behind the turntables he is also known at the techno scene under the Richard Damage alias.

He defines his sound as highly energetic, dynamic and elegant as a producer he have an ear for detail, adding very complex sounds but at the same time remaining clean and minimalist. Fresh attitude and multifaceted moods that makes the extremes of euphoria and deep introspection collide. His sound exploration always looks for transcendence and atemporality, music that always is looking for a place into the future.

Now with his new live act Rifhes melts with his guitar the sounds of punk, grunge and post-rock into powerful electronic beats achieving an upgrade to the cyberpunk music.
